The Rivers Ijaw People’s Congress (RIPCO) has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term, citing what it described as his genuine commitment and sustained support for the people of Rivers State.
The endorsement was announced by the group’s spokesperson, Senator George Sekibo, during an interaction with journalists. He said the decision followed a careful assessment of President Tinubu’s policies and interventions, which he noted have had a positive impact on the lives of Rivers people.
According to Sekibo, President Tinubu has consistently demonstrated concern for the welfare, peace and development of Rivers State, adding that the administration’s contributions to the state are numerous and significant.
