The university undergraduate and the other suspects were arrested in different parts of the Rivers State, including Oyigbo, Emohua, Etche, Ahoada-West, Ikwerre local government areas.
Our correspondent UCHENDU EJIOWHOR witnessed the parade and reports that the suspects also include twenty-two who are linked to cultism, four suspected armed robbers and fifteen persons accused of kidnapping.
The parade of the criminals was supervised by the Police Public Relations Officer, NNAMDI OMONI on behalf of the Commissioner of Police.
OMONI, who is a Deputy Superintendent of Police, told newsmen at the Command Headquarters on Moscow Road that three AK-47riffles, five magazines and several dozens of ammunition were among items recovered from the suspects.
DSP NNAMDI OMONI improved response time to distress calls helped in tracking down the suspected criminals.
OMONI called for continued public support for the police with timely and reliable information that would help tackle criminals in the state.
