President Bola Tinubu has nominated Christopher Gwabin Musa to serve as Nigeria’s new Minister of Defence.
The nomination was conveyed in an official letter sent by the President to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, for legislative consideration and confirmation.
The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed Musa’s nomination in a statement issued on Tuesday afternoon.
Details of the screening and confirmation process are expected to follow in the coming days.
