US Election; Donald Trump sparks row over comment on gun rights

TRUMP reportedly drew public anger by appearing to suggest that his supporters could stop his Democratic Party rival HILLARY CLINTON by exercising their gun rights.

The billionaire businessman said HILLARY CLINTON would put liberal justices on the Supreme Court if she wins the presidency in November, which he said could threaten gun ownership rights.

He told a rally in North Carolina that gun rights advocates could stop CLINTON from taking power.

The TRUMP Campaign Team has already reason in defence of the nominee, stressing that he was actually talking about getting gun rights supporters to the ballot box to enact change politically.
