Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s statewide broadcast last Friday has continued to draw reactions.
The Rivers State Civil Society Organisations criticized the portion where Governor Fubara referred to the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, as the leader of the people of Rivers State.
Enefa Georgewill, speaking on behalf of the group, also faulted the governor’s decision not to probe the six-month administration of retired Vice Admiral Ibok Ete Ibas.
He urged Governor Fubara to hit the ground running, stressing that the state has lost valuable time and is now lagging behind in all sectors.
