Turkish giants Galatasaray have completed the signing of experienced German midfielder Ilkay Gündoğan from Manchester City on a free transfer. The 34-year-old midfielder has agreed to a contract that will run until the end of the 2026-27 season.
Gündoğan, who had one year remaining on his City deal, was permitted to leave as the Turkish transfer window remains open until September 12. The move marks a significant addition to Galatasaray’s squad as they bolster their midfield options for the upcoming seasons.
