This is because the Independent National Electoral Commission has announced the postponement of the polls due to security reasons.
Part of the reason for the decision is last Friday suspected arson attack on INEC office in Bori, the headquarter town of Khana Local Government Area.
A report which cited INEC Secretary, AUGUSTA OGAKWU, confirming the postponement, also added that the commission was ready to conclude the rerun elections within the shortest possible time.
INEC however emphasized the need for the political actors to ensure the enabling environment to guarantee peaceful conduct of the rescheduled elections.
