A member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Tony Okocha, has praised the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) for what he described as a transparent process ahead of the August 30 elections. Speaking during the presentation of flags to candidates, he urged supporters to maintain peace before, during, and after the polls.
Vice Chairman of the APC in the South-South, Victor Giadom, represented by Senator Magnus Abe, lauded the party for conducting hitch-free primaries in the state.
Former Nigerian Ambassador to Jamaica, Maureen Tamuno, thanked the APC for giving women the opportunity to emerge as vice chairmanship and councillorship candidates in the upcoming elections.
