Al-Ittihad Set to Launch Big-Money Move for Vinícius Júnior

Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad is reportedly preparing a massive offer to sign Real Madrid forward Vinícius Júnior.

According to reports, Al-Ittihad’s sporting director, Ramón Planes, is leading efforts to bring the Brazilian star to the Saudi Pro League as part of the league’s plan to attract top players in their prime. The club is said to be ready to offer a transfer fee in the region of €350 million, with a salary package that could make Vinícius one of the highest-paid athletes in the world.

Vinícius, who is contracted to Real Madrid until 2027 with a reported €1 billion release clause, has been identified as a priority target by Al-Ittihad. The Saudi club believes that signing young elite players like Vinícius will help boost the league’s global reputation.

While Vinícius has previously rejected offers from Saudi clubs, the financial package being prepared by Al-Ittihad could test Real Madrid’s and the player’s resolve.

Al-Ittihad’s interest is part of a broader push by Saudi clubs to sign top players including Mohamed Salah, Kevin De Bruyne, and Victor Osimhen, as the league shifts focus from aging stars to players still at the peak of their careers.
