Economic Hardship;Nigerians Demands for higher minimum wage

The respondents who cut across public servants and artisans are of the view that a higher minimum wage for workers would cushion the high inflation in the system.

A public servant in Port Harcourt identified as IBEM GOLDEN told correspondent FELIX OJOGWU that workers are the worst hit by the current high cost of living in the country.

 Also speaking, some commercial transport operators and traders in the Rivers State capital lamented called for urgent intervention by government by pumping more money into circulation to boost business activities.
