There has been increased deployment of security operatives in Abua-Odual, but the inaccessibility of some of the communities by road remains a major challenge in enhancing security coverage across the local government area.
But in spite of the challenge; the Chairman of the Caretaker Committee, OYE FUBARA IGENEWARI called for patience, stressing that security should be seen as the responsibility of all.
In the meantime; a partial restriction on the operations of motorcycles and tricycles in Abua-Odual may not last much longer.
This is because the Security Committee of the local government council continues to meet regularly to review the situation with a view to relaxing the regulation.
The council CTC Chairman said the hardship caused by the restriction is a necessary sacrifice the people have to make for their safety and security.
OYE FUBARA IGENEWARI is the Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of Abua-Odual Local Government council.
