A Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has adjourned till 28th of April for hearing on a matter instituted by candidate of Peoples Democratic Party for Degema state House of Assembly, FARAH DAGOGO against the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.FARAH is challenging INEC and its Resident Electoral Officer for withholding his Certificate of Return after he was supposedly declared winner of the March 19 re-run election for the Degema state constituency.At the resume hearing today, the All Progressives Congress, and its candidate for Degema constituency in the rerun elections, ELDRED BRAID applied to be joined in the suit as necessary parties. Earlier, Counsel to INEC, W.E NWABUDE had filed two counter affidavit seeking for extension of time.Correspondent UCHENDU EJIOWHOR reports that the trial Judge, Justice MUHAMMAD LIMA adjourned the matter till 28th of April after the lead counsel for the complainant, EMMANUEL UKALA refused to oppose their plea by APC and its candidate and Independent National Electoral Commission.
