Hearing has begun in a case filed by a group of Niger Delta Youths against the Niger Delta Development Commission before the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt.Our correspondent reports that the aggrieved Niger Delta youths are challenging that the NDDC failed to execute a Merchant Navy training programme in Dubai, as well as diversion of contracts for the clearing of water hyacinth in the region.After listening to counsel of both parties, Justice UCHE AGUMUO adjourned the matter till tomorrow.The lawyer for the aggrieved youths group, C. U. OJEBAGU, addressed newsmen outside the courtroom on the proceedings.However; counsel for the NDDC declined to speak to newsmen in Port Harcourt.
