PCRC dismiss bribery allegation Rivers CP

The State Chairman of the PCRC, Voke Emore who spoke during the official launch of the Rivers Zero Crime Initiative, called for unity in the fight against crime and criminality in the state, noting that the programme can be sustained if members of the society fully partner and support the Nigerian Police.

Emore stated that zero crime in the state can be achieved if the communities expose criminals in their areas, saying the PCRC remains a bridge between the communities and the Police, hence the commitment to be fully be part of the initiative.

Responding to a question on the idea of granting of amnesty to repentant cultists and criminals, Emore said people must realize that the economy can only grow when there is peace and security in the country.

On his part, the State Chairman of the Rivers Civil Society Organization, Enefa Georgewill who spoke in an interview with Today FM’s Uchendu Ejiowhor on the sideline of the event, expressed concern on the political will to carry on the initiative successful.
