Today FM gathered that the shutting down of the trailer park came few hours after the All Progressives Congress in the state, used the premises for campaign rally yesterday.
The Etche council chairman, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Robinson Oluor said the shut down of the premises is with immediate effect and warned that anyone who violates the directives of the Chairman will face the full wrath of the law.
Reacting to the development, the spokesman of the APC Campaign Council Sogbeye Eli described the action of the Etche council chairman as fear of defeat gripping the mockers.
Eli said the PDP is intimidated and confounded by the overwhelming turnout of Etche APC faithfuls at the campaign rally.
The APC campaign Council expressed concern that those he described as anti-democratic elements, who played a role in the enactment of the Executive Orders 21 and 22 issued by Governor Nyesom Wike, may have forced the hands of the Council Chairman to seal off the trailer park.
