The Paramount Ruler of Rumuepirikom in Obio-Akpor, Eze ANTHONY OWABIE, has denounced a statement purportedly made by the Youth Leader of the community in regard to a recent violent confrontation between two brothers of rival political parties.

The Paramount Ruler of Rumuepirikom in Obio-Akpor, Eze ANTHONY OWABIE, has denounced a statement purportedly made by the Youth Leader of the community in regard to a recent violent confrontation between two brothers of rival political parties.The Rumuepirikom Youth Leader was quoted in a media report comparing the use of firearms by the two brothers against each other to the violent clashes in 2014 in which Eze OWABIE was arrested.However; Eze OWABIE who described NYEMENUM ONUOHA as a self-acclaimed youth leader, wandered why he would be making comments on a matter that is still pending in court.The position of the Nyewe-Ali Rumuepirikom was made known by his spokesman, JOHN IHUA, in an interview with our correspondent.IHUA said the Paramount Ruler of Rumuepirikom is disturbed about the divisions in the community because of political differences.JOHN IHUA is the spokesman of the Paramount Ruler of Rumuepirikom, Eze ANTHONY OWABIE.
