The state chairman of the ADC, Leader Sampson who spoke with Today Fm’s Chinedu Iwunna said the decision was to encourage women, particularly the younger ones to go into politics.
Sampson disclosed that Dike has been a member of the party for over a year and posses the qualities required for the position.
The ADC chairman also disagreed with the Independent National Electoral Commission on its decision to end the Continuous Voter’s Registration exercise on July 30.
