Senator Abe who spoke during a condolence visit to Rivers State Secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalist in Port Harcourt called for training of journalists in other to sustain the beauty of the profession.
Speaking on the possible ways to improved governance, Senator ABE suggested taking back governance to the people as the possible means of improving the lives of the people which he said will in turn reflect on the government.
The former federal lawmaker also emphasized on the need for Nigerians to remain united.
Earlier, the state Chairman of NUJ, Stanley Job commended the senator Abe for his visit and solicited for support to improve the activities of the union.
