In a letter read by Senate President Ahmad Lawan; President appointed George Abang as secretary of the board and Lukman Mohammed, Kola Adeshina and Mohammed Yahaya as members.
The nominations are in accordance with the Act establishing the EFCC and the appointments are subject to the ratification of the Senate.
The president wants the senate to confirm the nominated persons expeditiously.
In the meantime, the senate has referred the fresh request by President Buhari to borrow four billion dollars and seven hundred and ten million euros to its committee on Local and Foreign Loans, giving them one week to report back to the senate.
