The Rivers State Post-Primary School Board has called on stakeholders to assist in providing security for schools within their communities.
The Chairman of the board, DAVID BRIGGS, made the call against the backdrop of recent kidnap of teachers and other members of staff in some schools.
Responding to questions during an interview with newsmen in Port Harcourt, BRIGGS advised teachers to maintain vigilance as they go about discharging their duties.He said Government has also taken steps to ensure that adequate security is provided around schools in Rivers State.
