Refinery repairs to stop subsidy payments

A former chairman of the Port Harcourt unit of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, Emmanuel Inimgba made the assertion in reaction to the approval of one point four billion dollars for the rehabilitation of the Warri and Kaduna refineries.

Inimgba said the issues associated with the trunk lines as well as lack of effective rail system and power must be addressed before the federal government will consider ending subsidy payment on petrol.
