This was disclosed by RMAFC chairman, Muhammad Shehu, during the presentation of reviewed remuneration package report to Kebbi state governor, Nasir Idris.
Shehu who was represented by Rakiya Tanko-Ayuba, a federal commissioner, said the move is in accordance with the 1999 constitution (as amended).
He urged the House of Assembly to move quickly on the amendment of relevant laws to pave way for upward review of income packages for political, judicial and public officers, as the last remuneration review was conducted in 2007.
