President Muhammadu Buhari Extends Appointment of MD of NSIA

President MUHAMMADU BUHARI has extended the appointment of the Managing Director of the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority, UCHECHI ORJI for another term of five years.

ORJI was first appointed to head the NSIA in October 2012, and has over the past five years raised the assets of the agency to over two billion dollars.
The extension of his appointment was announced in a statement released by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, FEMI ADESINA.
The statement noted that the National Economic Council had in July, this year, endorsed the renewal of ORJI's appointment due to his performance in the first term.
FEMI ADESINA also confirmed the appointment of Professor ISA HAYATU CHIROMA as Director General of the Nigerian Law School.
CHIROMA, who is a Professor of Law, takes over from OLANREWAJU ONADEKO, who is due for retirement.
The incoming Director of the Nigerian Law School is currently the Deputy Director in charge of the Yola Campus.
