Governor Wike said there was no way his administration would have successfully undertaken the massive infrastructural development in the state without the input of engineers and other technicians alike.
He stated this during the 50th anniversary celebration of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Port Harcourt branch in Port Harcourt over the weekend.
The governor, who was represented by the Chief of Staff, Government House, Port Harcourt, Emeka Woke, noted that attainment of fifty years by any individual or organization is no mean feat.
Governor Wike commended the NSE Port Harcourt branch and the National body for their support and collaboration with his administration since 2015.
The President, Nigeria Society of Engineers, Tasiu Sa’ad Gidari-Wudil, said governor Wike was honoured with the award for his outstanding contributions in infrastructural development of Rivers State.
