The National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH) has dismissed circulating reports of an ongoing recruitment exercise, describing them as false and misleading.
The Chairman of NANNM at UPTH, Madonna Chigonum, stated that no recruitment can take place without following due process and obtaining official approval from the appropriate authorities. She urged the public to disregard the information.
Chigonum also warned prospective applicants to be cautious and avoid making any payments to individuals or groups claiming to facilitate employment or accommodation arrangements, stressing that such claims are fraudulent.
