Presentations would also be made on sub-themes entitled “Community Service, Human Relations and Community Development”, as well as “Community Service as a Vehicle for Human Resources and Community Development”.
The guest speakers at the workshop are Professor JOHNY OGUNJI of the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture of the Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki and Professor JULIE UMUKORO of the Department of Theatre Arts of the University of Port Harcourt.
To this end; stakeholders of the University of Port Harcourt and the Host Communities are invited to attend the workshop on Monday next week, being 27th of February.
A handbill released by the Central Community Service Unit of the University of Port Harcourt indicates that the one-day workshop will take place at Ebitimi Banigo Hall, on Abuja Campus, from 10AM.
Doctor HELEN IMAFIDOR who is the Acting Director of the Central Community Service Unit is the Host, while the Chief Host is the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Professor NDOWA LALLE.
