UNGA;JOHN MAHAMA makes case for Trade balance between Africa and the world

President MAHAMA said what the continent needs is a fair chance to trade with the rest of the world, stressing that excess imports were pilling pressure on agricultural activities in Africa.

In his speech, the Ghanaian leader observed that some young Africans who hazard the desert and Mediterranean Sea to cross to Europe are young poultry farmers or entrepreneurs who sell their shops and undertake the journey because they can no longer compete with the tonnes of frozen chicken dumped on African markets annually.
