The Turkish Government now wants the Nigerian Government to close all schools and colleges that are allegedly linked to a US-based cleric accused of sponsoring the coup on 15th July.
A report quoted Turkey’s ambassador HAKAN CAKIL saying that a request had been made to the Nigerian Government to shut seventeen of such education institutions.
He said all the Turkish schools in Nigeria belong to the Gulen Movement and not the Turkish government.
