Brother to two of the victims who sustained the injury, Ebere Ferdinand, claimed the men were led by the commander of the Onelga Security Peace and Advisory committee, OSPAC in Obelle/Ibaa, stating that they attacked Sampson Ahunnaya, Prince Isaiah and one other person on their way to Elele.
While further decrying the continuous attack on some members of the community, Ferdinand noted that the lives of people were now at the mercy of those he described as OSPAC boys in the community, following their refusal to accept an aspirant for the community leadership.
He however, wondered why the Rivers state police command has remained silent over their calls, stressing his fears that the community may be plunged into another crisis, if nothing is done to salvage the situation.
