The running of Local Government Councils in Rivers State with appointed Caretaker Committees is not going down well with some political stakeholders in the state.Former Caretaker Chairman of Obio-Akpor, LAWRENCE CHUKU said the absence of duly elected local government chairmen in the twenty-three local government areas is denying people at the grassroots true democracy and good governance.LAWRENCE CHUKU, who made the observation in an interview with our correspondent JUDITH EMMANUEL, called on the Rivers State Government to dissolve the local government caretaker committees.
