The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of one suspect in connection with the killing of a seventeen-year-old boy in Buguma town in Asari-Toru Local Government Area on Wednesday.The Police Public Relations Officer, AHMAD MUHAMMAD, said in a statement that policemen had responded to a distress call and mobilized to the scene where the alleged killing took place at Tariah Compound but only saw traces of blood.The police spokesman said it took the assistance of a patriotic citizen who volunteered information on the condition of anonymity to confirm the killing of one GODSTIME IFUROIYALA and the subsequent arrest of one of the suspected culprits, who was identified as nineteen-year-old LUKE OKUMEBI.MUHAMMAD said the suspect is undergoing interrogation at the State Intelligence and Investigation Department, while the manhunt continues to track down other accomplices.
