The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, has denied the allegation that an excess of one hundred and eighty billion naira was missing in its account.
Executive Director of Finance and Administration of the NDDC, HENRY OGIRI made the denial when he appeared on a live television programme monitored in Port Harcourt.
OGIRI said the allegation of missing funds as contained in a report from the Auditor General of the Federation, SAMUEL UKURA, to the National Assembly was premature and misinforming.
He also claimed that some of the alleged monies the Auditor General raised in his report were in a suspense account when the audit was conducted.
