The Chairman of the Taskforce, Felix Nwadiveyi revealed this in a telephone interview with Today FM’s Odinakachi Celestine.
Nwadiveyi used the medium to warn members of the public, especially those engaged in street trading to steer clear from the roads.
He regretted that most of the newly commissioned flyovers in Port Harcourt have been turned to motor parks and loading points for commercial vehicles, but warned that the Taskforce will prosecute anyone found wanting.
Recall that the Rivers State Taskforce on Road Side Trading and Illegal Motor Parks was suspended in March, following the alleged murder of a commercial driver by a member of the Taskforce in Rumuokoro.
