By Paul Chimodo Nigeria’s telecommunications sector contributed about 5.2 trillion naira to the country’s real Gross Domestic Product, GDP, in the second quarter of 2026, recording its strongest contribution in two years. The figure highlights the growing importance of telecommunications to Nigeria’s digital economy and broader economic activity. The sector’s contribution represents about 15 per
