The Commissioners of Police in Akwa Ibom and Rivers states have agreed to strengthen collaboration in tackling piracy, kidnapping, cultism and other cross-border crimes affecting both states. The police chiefs said the partnership will focus on intelligence sharing, joint operations and coordinated security strategies to improve safety along the waterways and border communities. They noted
