A former labour leader, Opu-oyibo Lilly-West, has criticised the decision of the Rivers State Sole Administrator to proceed with the proposed staff verification exercise for civil servants despite widespread opposition. Lilly-West, who previously served as Chairman of the Rivers State Civil Service Union, described the move by the Ibok Ibas-led administration as “wrong and insensitive.”
