Minembwe, Democratic Republic of the Congo — The Congolese government has announced that it targeted an aircraft in the district of Minembwe, near the borders with Rwanda and Burundi. The government states the aircraft was blown up after it was identified as a threat, though rebels claim it was delivering food aid to the region.
