The Civil Liberties Organization (CLO) has rejected the timetable for the local government elections scheduled for August 30 in Rivers State. In an interview, the CLO spokesperson in the state, Emmanuel Obe, said the newly constituted Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RISIEC) board lacks the legitimacy to conduct or reschedule elections. Obe argued that the
