Stakeholder Commends FCT Minister Wike’s Reconciliation with Rivers Governor Fubara as a Step Towards Development

A prominent stakeholder in Khana Local Government Area has lauded the recent reconciliation between FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and Rivers State Governor Siminailayi Fubara, describing the move as a positive and commendable development for the state.

In a statement issued yesterday, Government Tigidam praised Wike as an exemplary leader who has played a fatherly role in mediating the political crisis that previously unsettled Rivers State. The stakeholder emphasized that the peace pact and renewed unity between the two key political figures are expected to pave the way for substantial development across Rivers.

Government Tigidam also called on supporters of the suspended governor, Fubara, to embrace the reconciliation, urging them to see Wike as a leader and to work together as one political family for the progress of Rivers State.

Additionally, the stakeholder expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his decisive intervention, which they say has been instrumental in restoring peace and fostering political stability in the region.

This development has been widely regarded as a significant step toward fostering unity and accelerating development initiatives in Rivers State.
