The Flying Antelopes played the entire second half with a man down after skipper Tope Olusesi was sent off late in the first half.

Rangers took the lead in the 28th minute through Ibrahim Olawoyin but their visitors however rallied back with three goals in the second half with goals from Mohamed Farouk,  Amor Layouni and Islam Issa in the 54th, 83rd and 87th minutes of the encounter. 

Speaking after the game, Rangers coach, Salisu Yussuf commended his boys for a brave performance while blaming the defeat on the red card they got. 

Rangers face another Egytian club, Al Masry away from home in their next game on Sunday.

Elsewhere, 

Moroccan side Hassania Agadir beat Nigeria’s Enyimba 2-0 on yesterday to move top of Group D in the Total CAF Confederations Cup. Hassania have just won one of their opening four matches in the Morocco top flight, but that couldn’t deter their continental ambition.

The home side wrapped up the victory in the opening 18 minutes of the match, with an opening goal from Karim El Berkaoui after a goalkeeping blunder by Theophilus Afelokhai and a sublime effort by Malick Cisse to earn maximum points from the encounter.
