Coach of the eight times NPFL champions, Enyimba, Usman Abd'Allah says his team will not take anything for granted when they square up against South African Side TS Galaxy in their bid to qualify for the group stage of the CAF Confederation cup.

The people's elephant who were knocked out of the CAF champions league by Al Hilal of Sudan on a 1:0 aggregate were on Wednesday (9th Oct.) drawn against unpopular and newcomers TS Galaxy of South Africa who ply their trade in the second division of the South African league. Reacting to the draw, Abd'Allah maintained that despite being a second division club in SA, Galaxy will not be underrated, adding that they'll be treated as one of the best because only the best who has defeated some big teams can play at this level of football.

"I don't think it really matters if they're in second division because they are cup winners so they must have beaten big teams to become cup winners" said Abd'Allah. "And I am not going to take anything for granted. We are going to treat any team as one of the best teams" he continued.

TS Galaxy defeated Kaiser Chiefs, both South African clubs, to win the 2019 Nedbank cup.

On the Target for his team, the soft spoken tactician said their next hurdle to cross is qualification to the group stage. He emphasized that the team will do everything possible to secure the qualification ticket.

"So, we're going to take this match as important as any other matches that we've played. Most important thing is to qualify for the group stage. Now, the target is the group stage so we are going to work and do everything possible to see that we've qualified for the group stage." He said.

Commenting on his team's preparation for the tie, Abd'Allah who led Enyimba to a semi final finish in this tournament in 2018,his first season as the club's gaffer posited that Enyimba will be ready for the match since this will be their last chance this season to secure a Continental honour which has eluded the eight times NPFL champions since 2004 when they won the CAF champions league.

"This is the last chance we get and we are not going to let it slip away from our hands. I think the team will be ready for the match". Abd'Allah Opined.

The first leg of the fixture is slated for 27th October at Aba while Enyimba will fly to SA on the 3rd of November for the return leg. Enyimba and Enugu Rangers who were drawn against four times Togolese league champions ASCK are the only Nigerian representatives at the Continental level. Rangers play away to ASCK on the 27th of October with the reverse fixture scheduled for the cathedral in Nigeria a week later.

Winners over two legs progress to the group stage of the competition.
