The hammer of FIFA Ethics Committee has fallen on the Secretary General JEROME VALCKE and Vice-President MICHEL PLATINI, a day after FIFA President SEPP BLATTER was provisionally suspended for ninety days. The Ethics Committee also slammed a ninety-day provisional suspension on VALCKE and PLATINI as interim measure over allegations of corruption.

The hammer of FIFA Ethics Committee has fallen on the Secretary General JEROME VALCKE and Vice-President MICHEL PLATINI, a day after FIFA President SEPP BLATTER was provisionally suspended for ninety days. The Ethics Committee also slammed a ninety-day provisional suspension on VALCKE and PLATINI as interim measure over allegations of corruption.
All three men deny any wrongdoing, but are not to take part in football related activities during the periods of the ban. In the meantime; CAF President, ISSA HAYATOU is to take charge as acting president of the world football governing body. The Ethics Committee also slammed a six-year ban former FIFA vice-president CHUNG MONG-JOON. It may interest you to note that both CHUNG and PLATINI are in the replace for FIFA Presidency to replace SEPP BLATTER in February next year.
