In sports; Nigeria’s Super Eagles will be arriving in Zambia late for the 2018 World Cup qualifier against the host team on Sunday.

Our correspondent gathered that the national football team will arrive twenty-two hours before the game.

The delay is due to financial problems that prevented the team from traveling out of the country today.

The Eagles would arrive in Zambia on Saturday afternoon, and would train once before the game on Sunday.

The President of the Nigeria Football Federation AMAJU PINNICK is reported to have told the Senate Sports Committee that pay for a charter flight and accommodation was a problem.

PINNICK also said Europe-based players were ordered to buy their own flight tickets and fly economy to join the training camp in Abuja.
