 Kenya's FAITH KIPYEGON has won Olympic gold in the women's one thousand, five hundred metres final.

KIPYEGON posted a time of four minutes, zero point nine-two seconds, ahead of Ethiopia's GENZEBE DIBABA and American JENNIFER SIMPSON.
