Nigeria’s chance of qualifying for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations is hanging in the balance.

This is because the Super Eagles are now in the tight corner ahead of their next game against the Pharaohs of Egypt. The Super Eagles must win today's away tie in Cairo or stand eliminated from the next continental championship. The Super Eagles would be going into the return leg match with two points, while the Pharoahs have four to their advantage.
Tanzania have one point, while the results against group rivals Chad have been erased after their withdrawal on Sunday, meaning only the group winners will make it to next year's finals.
