Fulham's Aleksandar Mitrovic has been given an eight-match ban by the Football Association after pushing referee Chris Kavanagh in their FA Cup loss to Manchester United.

The Serbia striker received a three-match ban for the sending off, three for violent conduct and an additional two for improper, abusive, insulting and threatening language.

He will also receive a seventy five thousand pounds fine.

Fulham manager, Marco Silva will serve a two-match ban after he was sent off.

Silva said in a statement he had apologized to Kavanagh and that he regrets what happened in the match on 19 March, after he was charged with abusive behavior towards match officials.
