The veteran anti-apartheid hero and former wife of NELSON MANDELA told journalists that South Africans cannot pretend not to have problems.
She said that there were a lot of things wrong and the party needs a whole layer of fresh leadership to work with the elders of the party.
She also complained about corruption in the country ,adding that now is the time for serious reflection.
Her comments come at a time when different factions within the ANC are battling over how to boost the party’s support after a set of poor local election results.
