Senate President Hails Signing Of North East Development Commission Act Into Law

This was confirmed in a statement by the Senate President, BUKOLA SARAKI, in which he commended President BUHARI for the speedy assent to the law.
Senator SARAKI also expressed the hope that the signing of the law will hasten the development of the North East states ravaged by the Boko Haram insurgency.
The Senate President said he would like to see all stakeholders collectively working together on the rehabilitation, reconstruction and rebuilding of the North East.
SARAKI also said he believes the NEDC Act will help alleviate the suffering of millions of Nigerians whose lives have been affected by the insurgency in the North East.
