Senator BUKOLA SARAKI urged security agencies in the country not to treat the rumour with levity but to urgently investigate and unravel those behind the alleged recruitment.
In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Senator SARAKI said it has become necessary for the intelligence outfits to take such rumours seriously with a view to curtailing such untoward development.
The Senate President noted that the so-called Islamic State Group has been using a similar pattern in its recruitment from refugee camps in Europe, just as Al-Shabab was doing in refugee camps in Kenya.
SARAKI also commended the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for investigating and arresting a contractor who allegedly diverted sixty trucks of grains that were allocated to IDP camp in Borno State by the Federal Government.
