Senator SARAKI said he has no knowledge of the involvement of UGUCHINYERE IKENGA with Rivers State Governor, NYESOM WIKE, in an alleged plan to organise protests against the Federal Government.
Our correspondent JAMES IGAH reports that the Senate President is yet to be formally notified of the development by DSS, but said UGUCHINYERE IKENGA should face the consequences if found culpable of the allegations.
Senator SARAKI also charged the DSS to properly investigate the allegations, adding that he would not condone any action that threatened the peace of the country, not even by his aides.
The spokesman for the Senate President, YUSUF OLANIYONU, disclosed in a statement that Senator SARAKI’s reaction is based on new reports on the DSS allegations against IKENGA.
